Ever since I learned the French for Spring, I've loved the sound of it over the mere incipient doing of the English. And as I walked back from a meeting with my client Rosemary at Cullachange yesterday, I came across this first sign of printemps blossoming in the garden of an apartment block in the slightly dingy streets of Surry Hills.
The magnolias are just finishing up in my street, but this is the first peek at spring I've seen in the city. The rest of the pics from yesterday, includign a couple of brooding skyscapes from a walk with the dogs in Rookwood cemetary, are on Flickr.
